The Mabou Sailing and Boating Club is committed to the development and sustainability of a recreational boating club for youth and adults in and around the Mabou area. The club first began in 2008 with the Ontario Mobile Sailing Club visiting the area for one week during the summer. Since then the club has enjoyed significant growth with over 75 kids and adults registering for the 2013 Learn to Sail program. We continue to expand the facility and seek new members, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure continued success. Sailing in Mabou has generated a lot of excitement for kids, parents and members of the surrounding communities. It remains a positive project with tremendous potential. Please consider becoming a member today.
Mabou Sailing is an active member of the Nova Scotia Yacht Association and a registered non-profit society. The club is located at 355 Mabou Harbour Road ( The Point ) |
